I have claimed Spouse rebate for year's and no complaint from ATO.
Eligible for FTB Part B as I earn under $150,000.
DILEMA this year.....If you earn under $150,000 you are eligible for FTB Part B, If you get FTB Part B you can't claim Spouse Rebate
If you earn over $150,000 you Can't get FTB Part B OR Spouse rebate
So who the fuck CAN claim Spouse Rebate???
Apparently No-One is eligible

Sounds like you can elect to claim one or the other. I think they're trying to get some of their ruddmonies back.

I never elected to get FTB Part B though
It was automatic
