Hey chaps,

My mate on his R1 is interested in getting a new set of fairings. He is unsure wether to go for the copied fairings or go genuine. Obviously genuine is more expensive but will be perfect fit and finish.Where as copy well could be anything.

Anyone purchase anything off the net which isn't genuine as far as fairing kits go ? Howd they turn out ? etc etc

not quiet lining up he is very impressed

I know of one person that bought some and said the same as Seiko's report. Apart from a little fiddling to get them to fit they were quite good. They certainly looked good.

Yeah i keep reading about guys who are getting them and the odd hole here and there needs a bit of persuasion, otherwise they are really good. Perhaps in the early days the copies where cheap and shitty, but i've been reading some stuff from 2009 and they are saying thats coming out now days is alot better than before.

Seems like they are USA ones Nick because it states that they are made by their own skilled professionals plus they sell Individual pieces also

oh true, perhaps i should order a few extra bits of them!
