yep, this one is still going to be good, some of them by the time they reach that size can be quite tough and a bit dry. You can tell when they are older they don't grow that fast in lenght as they grow their width.
I never forget watching a guy once pulling out a huge specimen at Tuncurry. It was a hot summer day and this thing was a monster. It taken him a good twenty minutes to get it landed, many people watching the event, he was very good at it you could just tell, how he managed to get it on shore, it wasn't the his first time landing a decent size fish.
When he got it on the grass, he virtually sat on the thing and drove his knife through it's scull, which the most "human" way to kill it.
What happened next was unbelievable : He picked up the fish and put it on the backseat of his Datsun 120Y. This thing almost reached from door to door. He, then went back fishing for MORE
First of all, that monster would have been half cooked in there in half an hour, secondly what was he hoping to get ?
He already got Moby Dick ...
