I'm looking for a job preferably related to the financial industry as a intern, need the experience as i will be graduating at the end of this year.
Please let me know if there are any opening that you are aware of.

The NAB takes in grads every year. Alas I'm in Wholesale Banking Technology and came in sideways directly from a vendor, so can't vouch for the grad stream. Have a look here if working for a large bureaucratic Bank floats your boat .

I work in the Melbourne Dealing Room and have quite a few contacts in the Sydney room so if you're interested I can put you in touch with someone who has been there and done that.

If you're used to small dynamic free-thinking fast-moving companies you will soon notice it's a different mindset though . Home interest rate bank-bashing by the mainstream media aside as a company they aren't a bad bunch of people to work for, I have been there 7.5 years now.

In case you think you'll be sent south to Victoria the main Dealing Room is Sydney, even though the Bank itself is based in Melbourne. From what I have seen the grads do move around the room a bit and they sometimes end up down here as well.
