Hiya - thought since i own a z650 and i badger Gos all the time i might as well join up here where the info is!

My name is Al and im Canberra.

I bought the bike a few years ago and about a year ago i started pulling it apart and restoring it. It ran when i got it (albeit very roughly) so i decided to turn it into a cafe racer, general tidy up, replace some bits, clean up and paint other bits, clean out carbs etc - if i cant register it i will just use it on the track.

Hasnt cost me that much because i have been buying most things from z1, ebay and doing the work myself. The gold paint was done at a shop here in canberra and was the most expensive thing so far - although he did it for a good price.

Anyway - Gday all. btw - i am looking for a cheap sports bike (maybe a zx9) if anyone has one for sale frop me a PM.

G'day and welcome mate

Awesome looking bike, you've done a nice job on her. Is that a GSXR750 tail? Fits well. The paint looks sensational too.

BTW don't forget to whack a chain on before you try going for a ride :D
