Is this tyre ok to use?

Noticed this gouge on one of my tyres the other day, its basically in the centre of the tyre. Its a Dunlop slick that I bought brand new and has had about 1 and half track days.
Would it be ok to use? Should I sand/file around it to make it a bit smoother? I could take it to the track as a spare and ask the tyre tech.

If the scrutineers don't see it... your all good.......... I got held up at EC last month for having 6 or 8 suspect plugs in my rear

Till they realised it was the imprint from the tyredown..... never been pulled aside for a suspect rear before
