Hey guys,

looking to take my zx-2r for a service; as im not too mechanically experienced to do it myself, or have the spare time to do it. Any specific places that you would recommend / have experience working with zx2r.

Somewhere in the Southside would be better (Springwood / Underwood ), but will go further if the workshop is highly recommended. Also, roughly how much would i be looking at for a minor service, and a major service?

Thanks guys,
Abe

edit: Mods you can move this if its in the wrong section (not too sure where to post this)

Bring it into my work, Pro motorcycles at Rocklea! I used to do all my own servicing but the workshop guys are magicians so now I get them to do everything for me, even just changing oil, I've never seen people work so fast and so damn well. I'd highly recommend them :D J.

is that the pro honda next to the ipswich motorway ? i thought, going by the name that you guys would only work on hondas. roughly how much would it be for a minor / major service? (first bike and first service, im a noobie).

Although now i am contemplating doing it myself...what do you guys reckon? Is it overly complicated for someone with limited knowledge? Is it easy to do stuff like oil, filter, plugs?

Give them a call and say you're a friend of Jamie's 3277 9722. It's not hard to do your own servicing but since you're a newbie and it's not a new bike, I'd be getting someone decent to look over it first, they'll find things that you'll miss. J.
