Hey guys,

looking to take my zx-2r for a service; as im not too mechanically experienced to do it myself, or have the spare time to do it. Any specific places that you would recommend / have experience working with zx2r.

Somewhere in the Southside would be better (Springwood / Underwood ), but will go further if the workshop is highly recommended. Also, roughly how much would i be looking at for a minor service, and a major service?

Bring it into my work, Pro motorcycles at Rocklea! I used to do all my own servicing but the workshop guys are magicians so now I get them to do everything for me, even just changing oil, I've never seen people work so fast and so damn well. I'd highly recommend them J.

is that the pro honda next to the ipswich motorway ? i thought, going by the name that you guys would only work on hondas. roughly how much would it be for a minor / major service? (first bike and first service, im a noobie).

Although now i am contemplating doing it myself...what do you guys reckon? Is it overly complicated for someone with limited knowledge? Is it easy to do stuff like oil, filter, plugs?

Give them a call and say you're a friend of Jamie's 3277 9722. It's not hard to do your own servicing but since you're a newbie and it's not a new bike, I'd be getting someone decent to look over it first, they'll find things that you'll miss. J.
