Fail or Ingenious?

Is this a fail or using your brains when your front wheel has been stolen?

Well if you're license-disadvantaged or your car is out of action and you still have to do grocery shopping for a bunch of hungry teenagers at a shopping centre 2 or 3km from home in an area not serviced by public transport and you haven't got the taxi fare then I guess it's pretty ingenious.
Otherwise it's a fail at the first pot-hole or large piece of gravel (or corner for that matter)

...although the thongs tell me that he isn't worried about holes or gravel, so maybe he is just worried about corners.
