Hey everyone i tried a search but couldnt find alot so if this is common please dont flame me. I recently purchased a 2001 zx6r as my first "big bike". I left it idling to see what the temp comes up to and it got to 95C before i switched it off thinking it was getting hot. The thermo fans had not kicked in yet. Is this normal temp for these bikes? Or is my thermo fan not switching on?
One more thing, what is the best servoce manual to get for this bike? Is my best option getting one direct of kawa or are there good aftermarket books?
Thanks.

Should be just below 100 deg...... you should get a temp light come on if it starts to get too hot, as in past the stage the thermo fan should cut in ..... give it another go
