if you have aftermarket muffler, check the exhaust servo....it's what it usually is. if you take the seat off and give it a wiggle sometimes it starts working again, otherwise buy a servo eliminator (unless you have the stock pipes on) cause it will just happen again more than likely

if you have a stock muffler you need the servo eliminator. give it a bit of a wiggle first sometimes if they sit for a while the get stuck and usually just wiggling where the cables go on can sort it out. with the stock muffler on they usually seem to last longer that with aftermarket, i think cause they have a bit of tension on it!!

hang on,
if you have the stock pipes you need the servo.
if you have aftermarket pipes without the valve in the pipe, you need a servo eliminator.
if your servo is shagged, you could lock your exhaust valve into the open position, then get a servo eliminator to get rid of the servo without the FI light coming on.

yeah that's right
or it's a good excuse to get a aftermarket pipe and a servo eliminator
