After getting the 7 back together & checking all the wiring I was thinking wonder if it kicks over.
It didn't go to plan. ignition on, switch to run, hit the button & nothing.....I have checked the usual stuff fuses & connections
I did notice the starter relay was corroded at the plug but cleaned & lubed that.....still no go.
I have lights in the dash, indicators, horn ect. but no go.
Does anyone know what I have missed??

Does it have a clutch switch?
Is the starter solenoid making a clicking sound at all??
Tried jump starting it?
Try bridging the starter solenoid with a screw driver
Check earths.
Get the multimeters out and start following voltage along the starting circuit, have a look at a wiring diagram and test all switch etc etc.
I hate electrics lol but this is what I would be doing, not in order though, always start simple
Cheers Tim

I had the exact same problem Joe when I fitted the clutch MC I bought off you, I forgot to connect the clutch switch.

Bike was in neutral, I had a neutral light, clutch was pulled in just in case, battery was fully charged, but absolutely nothing when I hit the start button, not even a click at the starter solenoid. Hope this helps.

I checked the clutch switch hoping that it was the problem but it was pluged in & fine.
looks like I will be out there on the weekend with the multimeter.

Spot on Rob, the switch was playing up.
