Clear lenses (ZXR)

I'm after clear lenses for the indicators and tail-light/brake-light of my ZXR (750 L2 but they're all the same I guess).
See them around a few stores but just posting in-case someone recomends a good cheap place.
Some stores are selling them ridiculously over-priced.
I don't want the "assemblies" or anything, just the lenses.
Cheers
Ja.

Indicator lenses are no real hassle, but you cant get just the tail light lense. The origional is a sealed and glued unit. Even with heat, they just dont want to come apart.
Expect to pay about $80 US for the tail light on-line.
Plus, why not go for some nice smaller after market flashers in clear. The stock ones are just soooo big and ugly.

Thanks matty, I discovered how annoying the brake light is last night trying to mount some LED's inside it for my number plate, hahaha.
I gave up.
I quite like the stock indicators. I'm gunna keep 'em (well, clear versions anyway) as I wanna stick with the "theme" of have great big gooby headlights and stuff, hahaha.
So big indicators, clear lenses, silver coated bulbs... nice
Trying to sort out my number plate now though.
Anyone know of a very very thin strip of LED's mounted inside a very very thin reflector that would mount nicely above the plate?
About 5mm out from the plate provides plenty of angle to illuminate it propperly, just haven't been able to find what I want and don't have the know-how to mould my own reflector, haha.

Why not just use a couple of superbright LED's instead of a relector?
would have to be cheaper and easier.

Coz I only want light illuminating the plate, not going everywhere else.
Have got a few ideas though, will see how I go.

those LED's are actually more directional than you think.
Glue them in place using silicone or something inside the housing and they will act like mini spotlights onto your plate.

Yeah that's what I mean, would need a housing (which might as well be a reflector) to mount them on a decent angle without looking dog-ugly, haha.
I've ordered a clear tail light though (AU$100), so I might have a shot at mounting a few luxen led's inside that faces down and back slightly... will wait until it arrives though
Thanks everyone.

you could always mount them deep in some gromets.

Yeah that'll be the last option, haha.
Trying to avoid drilling holes.

Ok mate, I've finished the rear sort of... I accidentally road over one of my brand new clear indicator lenses with my other bike, so it's electrical-taped on until I get another one, haha, bugga.
I'll flick them on tonight and take some photos, though my bike is being pulled apart ready to fix the engine so you'll need your imagination a little bit
The rear end has ended up looking really nice though I think; maybe a little bit fancy-pantsy for some people's liking but I like it, woo.

Is there such a thing, as too much bling

Couple of things...
1. Is it just me being uptight when I say that bling like mini-indicators, clear tail lights, iridium screens and so on look really out of place on old-school bikes? To my mind, a 90's bike looks a lot better when it's all "period", done up with goodies which were around when it came out.
2. To paraphrase that Larson cartoon, "Engine first, then blinkers".

Three words.
Go, then show

All true.
My bike HAD plenty of Go... just not for very long

.
So now Show has overtaken until I fix 'er up again.
I just like tinkering and lights, it's not about bling.
For me it's about being a bit different and practical and I think I succeeded with both

.
Until the engine ate itself
I know Sam loves bling though

Nothing wrong with that either.
