Brought these today meant to be the greatest thing since 2lt bottles of OP rum and at $600 a set they better be.

The tyre dealer wants as much feed back as i can give him as this is the first set sold :? Does that mean the next release of tyre maybe the Hammer-RaceTec ?

Mate, you eat tyres 8) , like you don't know what 160hp is going to do  . I think, just as someone suggested a KSRC sponsored crash fund for me  , you need a KSRC tyre fund. We've all heard of the "cookie monster", and how he devours cookies, meet Hammer the "tyre monster" :P .

Strap-on

Summins gotta be better, 3000km's is just expensive and unreal. Even the Bridgies come with 5-6mm grooves from new and thats gunna last about 2 or 3 good hard runs, I suppose I should not complain as thats what ya get from all that RWHP. I will have a serious look at the alternative and I will be carefull. Good point about the constant high speeds as that contributes the majority of the wear in the centre and these current tyres ball/rip up badly during a hard run. I am really at a loss to get decent wear, I need something with a hard thick centre, Pilot Road or HPX comes to mind although they don't have a 200/50 (HPX do) only a 190/50 AFAIK. Might go and see what the yanks are using. 8)
