ZXR750 Steering damper?

I'm wondering where the fitting points are for a steering damper on a ZXR750(L)?
I'm not looking at an Ohlins or anything expensive as the bike cost less than an Ohlins damper but I've been offered a budget one for $150 which needs a mouting bracket making.

Common practice was to weld a boss onto the frame spar.
