Anyone used these places to buy stuff and whats your thoughts..?

A bloke at work raves about how cheap it is and the stuff he's got so far has been spot on.

Yeah my Mrs' business have brought stock using them and have been very happy. Some sellers will want to sell you big numbers of things. The trick they've used for that is to say they need a few samples, the order will follow after the samples

Yeah Dave the fairings for my bike came off AliExpress. I was happy overall, didn't get ripped and everything went smoothly.

Ensure you pay through PayPal so you have some buyer protection though, AliExpress doesn't seem to have the same sort of protection that Ebay offers, such as moderation of vendor reviews/reputations.

Paypal didn't come up as payment option on the stuff i was looking at.

Alibaba delivers a good grog bog following a night on the turps?

I would probably give it a miss personally... too little buyer protection in that case. Reputable vendors on Ebay at least give a damn about their feedback score and Ebay themselves will stick up for you at times.

i bought a tyredog tyre pressure monitoring system through them

$135 V $399 for the real version in aus

works as it should

but as mentioned they are a bit like ebay sellers all selling through the one shop

meaning you are dealing with all different sellers

there is a feedback rating on there as well to take with a grain of salt
