Yep there is some one here in melbourne who has a new bike,hope he is having fun .

So picked up a new trek ion last night. Yet to actually ride it but hanging out for a good pedal!!!!
Big thanks to Mal for looking after me. Knows his stuff and a top bloke to boot.

I was going to post a pic but thought I would leave that up to you,pretty sure you will enjoy the bike ,shorts and shoes should be late next week I will give u a call when they turn up.

Yeh since my knee surgery I've been riding my mountain bike but I wanted to get something a bit more efficient but still wanting to do the warby trail.
So cyclocross was the answer were I can cross over unto the road but still do gravel tracks.
I will still keep the mountain bike for the odd off road excursion and as the kids seat is on the back of it I will use it for family rides too.

So finally managed to get on it yesterday.
Rode to work and home again, which is the longest ride I've been on. I ended up doing about 60kms.
Its not often I'm at the same job site so I jumped at the opportunity to leave my tools and ride in.
Little bit sore today but not too bad.

Nice mate, Trek seems to be the in brand atm.
Very pleased with mine despite the delivery set up issues. Taken it for a few pedals already now that I have a some lights mounted to it.
