Heading over to Europe next year and spending much of that time in Italy. Of course, it would be foolish to the point of negligence to not take this opportunity for a track day at the world famous Mugello circuit

Has anyone been over there and done a track day? Any advice on how to go about arranging it, getting there, renting gear + bike, etc?

Unfortunately my Italian relatives only know about buzzing about on scooters with a coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other

Gotta say an overseas track day is on my bucket list as well, I'd live to ride Brno sometime.

Someone from this site, forgot who, put me on to this guy for some reading, he does trackdays and teaching in Europe.
