Because of the time difference it may be on Monday night on 10.
I haven't looked on foxsports what time its on yet but it may be live at 4 or 5 am monday morning. I'm at work atm so I cant look till after 4 tonight.
If someone can go to
http://www.foxsports.com.au and check that would be great.

Using some NASA mapping software, I decided to look the track up. Check out the terrain it's nestled in.

They're not racing all three classes...only the MotoGP class has gone to the states, the 250 and 125 have to wait until the next round to race again.

Now thats a weird time to put the racing on, I will possibly do the pub with you marty when we know what time it does the live to air thing.
Ardvark is that really the terain that track is on...be good to have a up hill and down dale type track the flat stuff is a bit mundane for mine although at 300kph+.... will have to look on google maps.

Beryl, as mentioned.. free to air at 7 a.m Monday.
The previous maps were slightly exageratted on my part as it's difficult to get an appreciation of the terrain without being able to activley scroll around it in real time.
The maps are USGS digital orthophotos.
A digital orthophoto is a digital image of an aerial photograph in which displacements caused by the camera and the terrain have been removed. It combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. The standard digital orhthophoto produced by the USGS is a black-and-white, or color infrared, 1-meter ground resolution quarter quadrangle image. The accuracy and quality of USGS digital orthophotos must meet National Map Accuracy Standards at 1:12,000 scale for 3.75-minute quadrangles and at 1:24,000-scale for 7.5-minute quadrangles. The accompanying information serves to help users to overcome some of the obstacles frequently encountered when working with DOQs. Material has been gathered from various USGS sources.
I've scaled the terrain exageration back to x1. The attached photo is a far more accurate representation of the terrain at Laguna Seca.

the time its on (on fox anyway) is governed by the time difference. italy is usually early and they get later the further west you go. as the states is about as far west as they go its on LATE.
laguna is a WILD track, some real "big ball" corners, one thing the track is not is boring. i think its the shortest track on the calendar (32 lap race) and has the most elevation changes.......woo hoo cant wait, i've already told my boss i'll be late on monday
its a real riders track, should be a good battle and i'm tipping the green bike to go well as there are no real spots that they can get up top in the higher gears, the "front straight" has a kink about 3/4 along at the same time you crest the hill.
and of course the corkscrew, anyone remember the sickening sight of mighty mick hitting the haybale wall on the way down, crashing and then sitting in the middle of the track cause his legs had no strength to get up and move away

Thanks guys i worked out that its on at 7am monday, thats a weird time to watch bike racing but beggars cant be choosers.
Ardvark thanks for flatening out that map the google maps one was blured and wouldnt work at that resolution must bea reason for that and the originals you suplied wouldnt work for a gp bike but maybe a 240hp mx bike.
Should be a cracker race with the americans wanting a big result at home.
