Just got offered a GPZ1000 for free.
No fairings, rusted tank but apparently complete besides that and was a runner a few years ago.
I was more enthusiastic when this generous person told me it was a GPZ1100 but there was a time when I thought they were interesting. Photos being sent to me today. I don't need another bike to rebuild but then again.........
Any suggestions?

The price is right, Richard ! If nothing else, remove the engine and sell it to a Gpz9 owner, its known as a simple upgrade.
I used to love these things, they were an awesome looking thing back in the day.
Btw, apologies dir not getting back to you on the tester - I tried way back, but for some reason PMs weren't working for me.
Cheers,
Brian

Got a couple of murky photos last night. Compliance plate says 1989 ZX1000B so looks like it's a ZX10

Nice ! Much better engine apparently than the RX, albeit downdraft head so really only suitable for that bike I think.
Cheers,
Brian

As tempting as it was, With 4 bikes in the shed and one living outside because it doesn't fit in the shed I've had to knock back this 89 ZX10. Sometimes we just have to know when to say no.
It was offered to me free because the owner thought he owed me a favour. (not true)
It could be yours for only a few hundred dollars. If anyone here wants it send me a pm and I'll pass on his number to you.
Bike is located in Beecroft.
