No one in Perth has any ZX12s at 15k, in fact NONE of the kawasaki dealers have a new ZX12 at all, and only one of them has a ZX12 and its an 02 model a blue one

There is a private one for sale an 02 model its black and has a yoshi pipe with 6500ks for 13,500 which is a pretty good price I guess, I might go check it out when I get back to Perth.

check out the Adelaide/Melb dealers - a cheap one-way flight there ( and a slightly slower but still on something that has WINGS return flight ) you would still be way ahead. Curent list $18,990 plus....

Is 14,990 plus on-roads for real ??? I thought 15,990 plus o/r was the deal of the Century

yes, would be cheaper to fly over. Or most dealers will send you the bike on the back of a truck to anywhere for under 300 schmackers. Dont settle for a burnout ol 02 model when you can have something so much better.

1 left at kwaka maroochydore at that special price. prolly go by next week, they have sold 4 in the last 3 weeks.

Shop around, I got mine for $16,790 on road.

Didn't seem like a bad deal.....

If I hadn't borrowed against my bike loan, I'd be looking at a new 12. Oh well.... maybe in a year or 2.

When I bought my 12 in June, was talking to the Boss of the local dealership about the possibility of these types of bikes ( 12, GSX1300, Blackbirds etc) being legislated out of existence. I said to him maybe in 4 or 5 years time you won't be able to buy these anymore.

He looked up at me from the paperwork, and just said " Dave, it will be a lot less than 5 years mate...." and left it at that ! So maybe there will be a move to ban anything that can do 200mph ??

Hopefully not, there has been talk of banning *over* powered bikes for as long as I can remember.........bloody legislators

they should just ban underpowered bikes ie, anything made in the US *chortle*

*nods* somehow I think so too, unfortunatly, like the death of the ZZR1100 but as Kwaka has showen us it can only get better.

When I was talking to one of the kwaka dealers on the phone he said he had heard rumors of a ZX14, FUCK ME DEAD I thought the 12 had enough power. Anyone that whinges about even a standard ZX12 being underpowered needs a slap upsides the head!!! Im not saying that its not nice to have a few extra ponies though dont get me wrong.

Getting it shipped in might be a good idea, will keep you lot updated
