Yep, i finally got myself a nine motor for the zxr. they don't come cheap. it's got about 10-15000k. it's been sittting for 9 years so I thought i'd pull down the top end just to check it over. Farkin glad i did!!! I found the #1 cylinder had a score in it and the piston skirt has broken away. Luckily, when i removed the sump i found the piece of broken piston. So after all that i now have some JE high comp, forged 1mm oversize pistons, fully rebuilt head and new barrels, high flowed turbo and a braced frame. Hopefully thats all. A
924cc turbo is going to keep me on my toes, or on my arse.
If i can pull my head out of the rebuild for a moment i'll take some pics.
