Best Price/Choice to get Tyres in Brissi

Hi Fellas,
I'm looking to swap over my OEM B1 tyres to something new.
I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction of suppliers of tyres that don't charge an arm and a leg.
I'm after either, AVON, Bridgestone (BT-015 plz!), Michi's, or Pierlli Diablo's...
When I called up the AVON supplier in Brisbane they were quoting about 400 a set which seems a good price to me.
Maybe we can put a stick on this forum for quality price/service suppliers of tyres for different cities.
Thanx in advance
Martin

Mate, may give you a hoy in a couple of months when the current hoops are well and truly screwed (they're getting a bit squared off in the middle). Any idea what the freight is down to sunny Victoria? I seem to recall they were cheap, even with transport costs added on

Cost to Vic is about $21 a pair Mick. If you can get someone to fit them for under $30 your should be $80 - $100 in front. I'm due a new set for "tiggr" after the snowies to the super doopers trip. (Bloody Crim & the 12r's took some catching) I may even give the Shinko 005's a go next as I'm going to be spending time & money getting the "Flying flatspot" sorted in the next couple of months.
Cheers Brett

I have the 636 03 model. Haven't ridden her as much as I should (slap on the wrist)... having come from the old country where the temp doesn't get much over 20c I've not been a big fan of riding in leathers in the summer here, so tyres are now 2 years old!!!
The front is a 120/65 and rear 180/55 I think.
Don't know anyone who'd fit them round here, but haven't really looked around. The hoops have another 1000 on and i want to change them at the same time so the carcass shape and handling are all sorted.
I fancy Avon Sports as they've had good reviews... thought Michelen Power sound great as well at the new bt-014/015's... anything that works well around these dodgy roads
Cheers,
Martin

A set of pilot powers on the six is a safe option or bridgestone 12ss and the cheapest place in brisbane is mick out at goodna but be prepared to wait a while for fitting.
