Who does the wheel polishing around brisbane?

Has anyone done it diy with good results?

I am thinking about giving it a go possibly because I havnt ridden the bike in so long and havent had to clean it but also because it looks nice. :D

hey dave.. it makes the bike so bloody pretty :D And if they don't get wet and covered in bugs they're easy enough to look after :)

bob, ask Brett who did Big Kev's wheels :)

But dave I was looking at some pictures on another forum and thought to myself that looks pretty neat and there arent any like that around here except tanyas and i havnt seen them for a long time.

Anyways my bike sort of looks half done with white race glass and i thought if it looked like this it would bamboozle the competition and give any potential buyer horn trouble but not selling it just yet.

Heres one sombody else did. :D

We got Janelle's done through Alex at Lae $250 for the outter rims done.
Big Kev got some guy out Lowood way to do a full polish for $550. But I'm about to do the "Flying Flatspots" myself. Got the gear so may as well use it.
Cheers Brett

I can't see the bike in the pic Bob... It's camouflaged

My mate Steve did his and he spent more time cleaning them than drinking, and that's just not right.

I agree that they can look really good on some bikes but i've always preferred the black wheels on our model green machines...

Do it Bob Just Do It And don't worry about the maintenance either, there are some real Hi tec clear finishes for metal these days that go on thin and leave the rims with a sweet pearly look. :P
