Hey Phil hows the memory ?

While I was watching Kevin Maggee on fox I had I thought
Was it Kevin that ran into and ended the 500cc career of Bubba Shobert,spelt something like that , many years ago while doing burn outs after the race in the US ?
I think he ended up in a wheel chair or worse

as mick said, yep it was him.
magee hasnt had a good trot in the usa, his major head injury occured @ laguna seca in a superbike race when he was riding a camel honda.....
perhaps the knock on the head is the reason he cant say nieto properly (as anyone who has listened to our radio show will know)

BTW forgot to mention, mick's being a bit harsh, does he reckon rossi & all the others that do burnouts after a race are idiots..........i think not.
perhaps he could have done it @ the side of the track but hey, everyone in a genius in hindsight

Dont forget it was at the same GP meeting that Wayne Gardner also had a big one and totaled his leg, it was a bad one for the aussies thats for sure !!
