A guy on another forum offered to give away a ventura rack for a 12, i said we'd grab it, one of the 12 owners on here would want it for sure
The guy is in Sydney, it can either be picked up from sydney or whoever gets it pays postage

how come all the pics i see of rideouts on this forum, even if its just a day out,
every bike seems to have a ventura luggage rack and bag on it?
is it the number 1 luggage out there, or is it just better than anything else?
over here its panniers, tankbags of tailpacks or sometimes all 3 of them.
what do you all carry in them?

mate
Ventura racks are ligthweight (don't upset the bike)
carry heaps (maps, wets, tools, puncture kits, 1st aid, KSRC stickers etc)
fit the bikes easy and are easily removable (for track dayz etc)
and are relatively cheap (like I know Triumph sell genuine panniers
for a Sprint at $1500

)
a Ventura bag and rack...$350ish (depending on the model)
hth
cheers

Not like back home, minimal everthing, lucky if I took my wallet out on a quick ride

it went to the person who sent me a pm
and since you didn't it can't be you, can it?
besides I got to choose where it went, and based on the criteria that no money was to be made from it, and I know the person who's taking it has a zx12, and I trust them, so they would always be first choice

Lucky them
Well you didn't mention a reply was to be PM'ed did you in the "criteria"?
I was not going to make money on this one at all as insinuated
I was going to give you the details of a guy with a 12R who is a member here, he doesn't come here often at present so this is why I asked for it for him.
Nice work
