Hello to all from D&D

Just a quick note to intoduce ourselves. D&D isn't that drunk and other thing, but our names. Me, Darren, and the rear of the seat counter weight to help me mono my under powered machine, Debbie.
I have just had a milestone birthday, and as every good wife should, Debbie bought me a new bike for my present. (She bought me a new one for my 21st some 19 years ago as well). We're not really into sports bikes, as we don't like having to turn around or even slow down when the asphalt stops. We have both been riding bikes since we were kids, and I raced enduros for a while. I now race an offroad buggy and a marathon kayak.
My new bike is a Kawasaki however, but I would'nt describe a KLR 650 as sporty!
You will never get to see me riding it on my own. If Debbie is unable to come along on a ride, one of our two teenage daughters will win the fight to take her place.
An "interesting" character that I work (don't worry if you are reading this Stace, I won't tell them who it is) bribed me into joining the club with a KSRC stubbie holder.
So any how, we are looking forward to meeting many of you on the quickly approaching Grampians ride.
PS
Please confirm your availability or otherwise for this ride soon, so I don't have to put up with the winging fron the previously mentioned "interesting" character.
Keep the shiny side up,
D&D.
