well i wouldnt reckon it would go past 300...gearing and all...
id estimate stock abt 280-290 and maybe 290-300 max if its played wit ha bit...havent ridden one, but my old vtr use to struggle to get to 275...
also my blade (2000 cbr 929 ) which weighs abt 40kg less & has abt 20hp more ive seen 289 indicated....
christ man busa's , gixxers etc are only doin 300 ish...
zx12r and busa (de-restrictred) have been known to nudge 310 ish...

the 1/4 mile times are a little optimistic, but all those top speeds are measured with a radar gun.... while the radar gun might be saying 264kph, the speedo would be saying about 290.

uuurrrgh trade your 9 on a tlr??
crazy talk!
The next logical step would be a litre bike with 4 cylinders and less weight.
Or a zx12r....mmmmm
The TL1000's had such a bad rep for evil handling when they were released that dealers were throwing in two brothers pipes AND a second set of tyres for free just to shift em!

Ok... I need to know.... Are you talking about a TLs or a TLR.... Because you are saying TLR1000s..... but I suspect you are talking about a TL1000s....
If you are talking about a TL1000s, a mate of mine had one for a while, he moved from a Gixxer6 and was dissapointed with it... had it for about 6 months before trading it...
the TLR is a hot looking bike and seems to be keeping its value very nicely, I wouldnt mind one myself.... but my wife wont let me buy any more bikes this year

I know someone who used to ride a TLR. He's now on an immaculate RG500 and you can't get him off it.

Always had a soft spot for the old TLR....
Anyway, if you're talking actual speed as opposed to speedo speed you're looking at 280kph standard and about 290kph 'worked'. Both these speeds would be in optimal conditions (basically if a bird farts knock off 5kph).

i think they're talkin about multiples of the TL1000R. ie plural.
nobody's dumb enough to buy a TLS are they?
i mean c'mon, why would you wanna die?
Having said this, i do want an H1. i dunno how, but i managed to confuse myself

i think sport riders figure of 264kph measured with a radar gun for a TL1000R sounds about right, even with ram air they dont quite have the power to weight of say a 9R
