I was up till 3.30 this morning watching the racing the motogp and the 250s where great to watch in comparison with previous years where its like watching valenteeno doing 21 parade laps with a bunch of bikes following behind him.
Once casey has sorted out the oppisition he will be okay he has plenty of years left in him and he rides like a champion, just has to get a post race speil sorted out....ynow i came i saw i conquered god bless america type thing.

they went on about how good Rossi did (which was a top effort again) but up until danni crashed he had shat all over Vale's effort, starting further back and in the lead group or actually leading the race with-in a handful of laps while Valentino out braked himself and only picked his way through the traffic.
Tell ya what, tho, Chris Vermeulen restated how good he is at not letting anyone pass him, he held out Casey for 3 laps? and in supers we saw him fend off James Toesland on a track he had never seen and hold off Norrie Haga, i thought that was a top effort and out gunned his team mate yet again....now if we could only get Westie involved....

You mean like:
"No one pulled any bone-head moves. It was cool."

Yeh something like that ardvark nicky hayden has had some practice but casey was sounding a bit raw and if you saw him in the flesh he looks pretty young really although he seems to be handling that honda ok.
Just needs his agent to write a spiel and he can tack a bit on the end I think he will get used to it.

I thought he spoke better than Melandri...but then English is his first language so he'd want to
Awesome race, and did you see the 250's!!!!!

That was the best MotoGP race I have EVER seen. I just hope we have more races like that to come.
I was trying to yell mental telepathy style at Casey to move over and cover his line into that last set of corners, you could just see that Melandri was going to have a go there as Stoner was a bit slower on the brakes there all race. But as it was he came really close, surely it is only a matter of time now.
Just so impressive.
Chris V was great too, if they get those Suzi's worked out he will go well.
Westy on a Kwaka would be good to see as well. Too late to get hold of the other top Aussies....
Hopkins future? Rossi in F1

That was a great race, esp watching on foxtel with no ads at a reasonable hour.
2 questions for discussion out of that race
1. Are Hopkins' days numbered at Suzuki? Vermuellin has it al over him and is a debut rider.
2. Will Rossi go to F1 in 2007? He seems out of sorts this year, maybe out of motivation on bikes.
