Is this true?
Can I dart into the bicycle lanes here in Brisbane I wonder? Hang on... I do that now anyway

But it's nice to know I don't have to look over my sholder as often.

$72million for pushies? WTF? Is the Victorian Govt on Drugs or something?
How do they justify spending that sort of coin on something that doesn't even contribute to the roads via paying rego, licence fees etc?

Most of England has specific bus lanes which has three advantages...
1) It makes that form of public transport reasonably quick, and stops busses clogging up roads when the stop
2) allows motorcycles to 'filter' past traffic in the bus lane.
3) cyclists and taxi cabs can also use these lanes.
One traffic infastructure, 3 efficient forms of transport aided (and taxis).
