When ya change the gearing the speedo gets screwed up. ie if you drop the front sprocket you'll read higher kays. The healer fixes it.

The speedohealer is good. When a wanker on a CBR1000 has been following you and says he got up to $2.70, but the top speed replay on the GPS calibrated speedohealer says you were only going $2.45 (hypothetically of course) and he wasn't catching you...well he doesn't have much to go on

mine is pretty stock.. i got the pack with it when i bought it.. even though the brake lines are not on..

I can definately see the benifit of a smaller front sprocket.. may look into it sometime soon.. she revs to well over 120 in first

I am also at a point where i could start looking for some more power.. PC111 could be on the cards.. and the air filter.

The numberplate setup is very ordinary.. i attacked mine with a hacksaw the day i bought it.. looks ok now

I have also decided i need a damper/stabilizer.. looking into an olins style one.

Finance department is starting to look at me funny.. i better shut up

honda's are all pretty shite in that dept i hear...

on the way to island this year jamie and neka kept complaining i was going to fast (watching the coppers in vic u see

) i continually told them i was only doing 110-115, when i had a go on jamies bike i pulled up next to him and the speedo on my bike was reading about 115......the cbr said 130 odd......wtf, they are always the most ambitious with claimed weight and hp as well

Thats me, I was going faster than the turbo one too (he said he ran better times when it was stock WTF?)
I love my 10r, just has a highrise screen, vortex rearsets, very loud muzzy slip on and a tre in the mail, massive backfires on decelleration.. dunno how long those baffles will last

. PC is on the wish list.

oh does 165km/h indicated in first gear (put a camera on it for a run)

I must admit when he said he wanted to see 300 indicated I thought it probably wouldn't be too hard...I'm sure it could be wound up to 270 actual

if i changed the front... would i be better of changing both the front and the back?

i was gonna do 14T and 40T

Was thinking that the chain - rear wheel distance would stay about the same that way

Also.. how does the speedohealer work? do i have to get the right one depending on the teeth of the sprockets?

17-39 is stock, for every tooth in front your taking out, its like adding three teeth to the rear. One good reason not to go too low in front is the chain gets pinched more so it will wear and stretch more.
Speedohealer is electronic after its installed you program it....
Hope this helps.... Google SpeedoHealer if you need more....they have a website explaining everything,,,to be honest with you even if I didn't change my front I'd have a healer,,, that stock Speedo is way off from the factory even stock....

You should never go any more than 1 tooth up or down on the front.

I reckon with a 14T front the chain would be hitting the swingarm a bit.
