umm ive heard of a well flogged gpx750 doing 208,000 km...and it was "well ridden"...
so many things to consider-especially if u dont kno the full history- id suggest maybe an oil change every 3000km & filter at 6000km (every 2nd change)...tho i always run 6000km on my fireblade and its got 60,000km on it now, no worries either..
make sure u use bike oil tho (friction modifiers etc)..
250cc bikes' lives
yup go the motul 5100 and filter every 5000km but be religous or go 3000km oill and 6000km filter and if the oil gets to 4000kms it wont matter but dont do 5000km changes and let them get to 7000 because the stuff can thicken and you end up with a engine full of gunge that clags the rings and thats what you want to avoid.
Use the clutch unless you are on the track and microseconds count then its okay not to especcially if someone else is going to pay for the gearbox rebuild.
I have heard of so many US zx6rs with crook gearboxes but i religously use the clutch even when the guy at the braking and cornering course tells me not to....why because thats what its there for and it isnt much of a effort.
I have heard of plenty of 250s doing 150000kms and having the guts wringed out of them the whole way......preventative maitenace is the key.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

wow, looks like if i change oil and filter average very 3000km then i can keep the thing for a fairly long time, cool, thx guys, was riding the bike in the city , bloody hot engine air killing me, and the heat meter was above the middle point, but as soon as i rode down the freeway it was cool again
, and i think it's quite uncomfortable to ride the zx2r for a long trip, i didn't a total of 55km today in 1.5 hrs and i was sweating and my legs cramped hehe
