BTW. Not designated greeters, more warm friendly people who like to say hi (and reply to almost every post  ).
Hence their status, post whore.

Anyway, welcome to the club :D

G'day Den Monkey and welcome aboard.

I can feel a (north end) Putty run (mmmm... Putty) and lunch at Wollombi in the near future.

Paging Russell - you wanna meet up with us again?

So a question for you CC riders, are there many who ride out with you on smaller bikes. Obviously with the 250 Im a little concerned about being able to keep up.

Sounds like an awsome thing and am keen to come along

[/quote]The 2000 zx6r is a great bike, but perhaps also think about the 2002 zx6r - it's essentially the same bike but with a 636 donk, and the graphics on the green one are far and away the nicest to ever grace a 6r ... one like this one

Cheers Dave wasn't aware that body style and graphics went throught to '02 . That's actually exactly what I'm lookin for when I get around to it. Thanks for the heads up. Not sure though whether or not by the time I get to it if the difference in price may be worth just stickin with a 99/00 model or not. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Do you know if the headlight unit is a single on the 02 model ?
Im kinda torn I like a twin headlight but again I like that body style...

02 model had the twin headlights, same as 01...

Definately worth a few extra $$$ to get the extra cc's. They are a great bike and you can ride 'em all day...

I agree with the excellent taste and choice of recommended bike :-)
G'day DM and welcome - the 636 is a sweet bike!
I'm up for a Putty/Wollombi run, Cath - it's pretty quiet at work at the moment!
