2 years and 40,000k was enough to stretch my KBC until I needed a balaclava just so it didn't move when riding.

I got a ShoeiXR-1000 discounted and it feels so much lighter and more comfortable. It also has a higher cutout at the back, so I can lift my head more. I couldn't be happier with it

what annoys me about my KBC is the fact it has a hair scrunchie to hold the exess chin strap instead of a pop clip (like my old AGV). now my TK-8 is 2 years old and done 10ish trackdays + everyday 80k trip to work and the chin strap flaps around slapping the side helmet and my neck and when it connects real good, it stings like buggery.

My VR1 has a clip at the end of the strap that connects just above the d rings. Problem solved. 8)

VR1 is a great helmet for the money.

i tried on several other more expensive helmets and they didn't fit me like the VR1 does. some of the $1000+ helmets were good, but for 1/3 of the price i'd rather go the kbc.

I have a Racer1 Blue Comet! Great helmet & HEAPS better than my AGV Argon.

If I could afford an Arai I would have one, My mx helmet is an Arai & cost me $490 in 1994, it is extremely light & copped a flogging in my younger days & still saved the small amount of brains that I had.
