HEL braided lines - GROUP BUY.!

Post by Bear »

Hi all,
Time for a brake upgrade. Anyone using these lines ? They look the goods and seem well priced in comparison.
Any thoughts ?

Cheers,
Mick. :)

I have them on my bike, very happy with the quality of both the fittings and the lines themselves.
Hel use either Stainless or Titanium fittings because aluminum can cause an eletrolitic reaction with the different metals involved. Check their website out, it shows some of the aluminum fittings that have corroded.

Yeah I have them on my ZX7R and they are good. Appear excellent quality and mine are colour coded green - woohoo. They do have a few configurations to choose from so double check you get the right ones. I also bought mine from a guy on ebay at a fraction of the retail price. He has heaps of them for sale for all different makes and models all of the time.

hidepenny,
I've just ordered a set from these guys http://www.austreetfighter.com.au - very helpful.
All HEL lines they sell are ADR compliant which means they are legal on Aus roads. They come with stainless fittings as standard with a choice of colour on lines and fittings. $ 154 for a 2-line front plus postage :D
Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Mick :)

We've got 5 so far.
MadKaw - 04 zx10 -green
James - 89 zxr750 - ?
Hidepenny - zx2r - Black
Plasma Blue - 05 zx6r - blue
Bartofsky - 05 z750 -?

Although I just noticed they give OSB members a 10% discount.
So why do we have to buy 5 to get the discount...??

I'll run with it and see how he wants payment when the products are confirmed.
