If Vale DID do Reefton on the M1, he would struggle I am sure..........those Hornets should be a 'Control Bike' for the GP circus...

i might make it back again some day..
u seriously gunna run "shinko's"??
ive NEVER worn the middle out of a front tyre..........rears are usually a lot more "even" in the wear stakesWattie wrote:bloody tyres...
i wheel the weapon out yesterday morn b4 heading out to Bathurst.
and notice the front tyre is touching the wear indicators...
its a BT019 (apparently designed for the Z1000)
it has only 6800kms on it. (bike is brand new)
and its wearin on the sides... not middle not extreme edges just off to the sides.
still got plenty on the middle, so i think it will last me a few more weeks.
you know Wattie, thats exactly what I thought would be the case with my new bike, but no, its change both at the same time....Wattie wrote:oh ok then... i was thinkin s shoudl get about 2 rears to a front, but sounds liek i'll have to start doing front and backs together ....
its prolly more 1 to 1 1/2 (if you know what i mean) for me......although island trips seem to wear front tyres more.....Wattie wrote:oh ok then... i was thinkin s shoudl get about 2 rears to a front, but sounds liek i'll have to start doing front and backs together once i wear out this bt020 on the rear... (only 3 weeks old)
Thats exactly what jess's zzr250 does?!?!??!aardvark wrote:Buggered if I know... it doesn't feel like it's wobbling, more like the bars are pulsating in my hands. That probably doesn't make any sense, but it's the only way to describe it. And I've never felt anything like it before.beryl wrote:Ardvark has the bead popped properly right around the rim?
I did a track day at Phillip Island with it like it, so I really can't be bothered getting it checked.
