ZX10R Service Costs

Post by MickLC »

Hi Guys. Anyone of the multitude of ZX10R owners we have here now know what's involved in servicing their bikes? For example, are they like the ZX12R and need to have the engine dropped to adjust the valve clearances? Or is everything so incredibly well layed out that it is a doddle to do it all yourself (like the ZX9R  )?

More a case of should I bother even dreaming...like when I was looking at a very nice ZX12R but talked myself out of it 'cause of the service hassles :?

There's no point starting the groundwork with the financial manager (wife) if I can't justify it to myself

...but those black ones are sweet, and they have a couple on the floor at my local dealer

...although then I would need to change my nickname...oh the decisions
