Problem solved. I am a genius

Post by ZX10R King »

OK, I received my tunted screen for my bike today. I have removed old screen, got the grommet screw things out of old screen, but can't get them back into new screen. Anyone got any suggestions please?

A little lube perhaps, and maybe kiss them for longer???

Seriously I am not sure which ones yr talking about, but if its the little rubber sleeved ones with a screw in em that squashes the rubber, then make sure it is screwed all the way out and use a little grease to slide it in, or soapy water. HTH :)

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

When it is back together I will post a pic. I have taken dashboard out at the moment to replace a bulb. Fark me, those bulbs are tiny. Have to wait for bike shop to open..... :? Oh and it's a full tint 8)

no beer before working on the bike???

unless your measuring float heights with a little steel ruler (hard enough to see when sober, its true when they say "you'll go blind") then working 'dry' is a definate no-no
if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!
