New ZX6R '06'

Post by evilsim »

Just got my 6R 6 weeks ago have modded it a little just to clean the lines and fitted a Laser exhaust for some extra noise and power. I was riding a 96 ZX7R. The 6R seems to have more acceleration ... Anyhow anyone have some nice pics of theirs doesnt have to be a 6R they are all good ...

Hoffy, I think it is pretty much the same bike isn't it?

Yeah I love the cans too, very cool.

I do think the bottom fairing needs to be green though.

Hey that looks really sweet :D and would love to hear it in the flesh, dont know about leaving the rego plate in there and i think the plod would be on your case pretty quick about it.

Looks like a nice ride. :D
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

I actually never put a system on mine cause I couldn't find one that looked as neat as the original. The Akra came close, but still didn't look as neat. The Lazers looked good from some angles, but I didn't like the big square collector that hung down. But it's just personal preference I guess. I bet they sound horn though ????? :D

How close to the tyre does the plate get over big bumps???? Wouldn't be much in it would there????

Here is a pic of the one I just sold. It was too fast n scary for an old dude like me

The #plate is good never touches the tyre. You cansee the plate clearly from the rear so PLOD should not bother me and yes its sounds good. It is quieter than my ol'ZX7R with the Staintune Muff. Laser came with different inserts Race and Street - I fitted the Race insert and its not to loud - Power increase is good to still need K&N filter though ...

Just finished dual headlight mod so no more single light ... more pics

Looks good! I was thinking of getting both lights on my B1 on the go at the same time... but didn't have a clue how to do it and wondered what the drain would be like on the battery.. Now I'm used to having 1 light on.

Have fun and watch out for the fuzz, they like to give tickets for the rear airbrake not being present :((

Martin

PS are those the standard bulbs? (philips vision plus i think). I got some MTEC h7 4350k bulbs and they add a closer white when riding.

Plate is visable even at night with LED plate light ...

Headlights are HIL 55/60W xenon gas filled lamp. Extra wiring run uses extra relay also. See wiring diagram.
