Wazza,
I want those tail lights where did ya get them from or where they on the bike already?

Hey guys and girls, thanks for the comments, yep its an import model found out from the local kawasaki dealer the other day when i went to quote a service for it, the tail lights where on it when i got it so i dare say they are standard for the import model, lol the tyres where pretty baldy when i got it, but cant complain cause i got it farely cheap,

Just ordered a 06 GPX waiting on delivery, been lurking on here for a bit and decided to sign up.
AFAIK the reason behind the stalks on the Aus landed models of GPX and ZZR for indicators is to meet with an australian design/compliance standard of the distance between the indicators.
They're still completely functional when modded.

"I've started on the indicator mod and I decided to remove the rear fender too since it cleans up the rear end and makes the bike look a little sportier in my opinion.
I've sourced some bulb sockets and all I have to do is mount them and wire everything up tomorrow. I removed the paint from the lens covers using a combination of paint stripper, 3 grades of wet/dry sandpaper and some Mothers plastic polish. They are looking very nice and clean.
I also made up a bracket to mount the numberplate since there was nolonger anywhere to attach it. I'll also make up an 'inner' fender thing to keep the back of the seat, rear lights and the wiring dry. It's handy that the fender is in 2 parts though which makes it a lot easier."

"Almost done with the indicator mod. I went to 3 different places to try and source some bulb sockets but eventually had to settle for the less then ideal ones from the autoparts shop. I ended up having to jam them into the reflector units and then I used some silicon to bond and seal them in. I'm just letting them dry at the moment!"

You probably wont be able to do a RWC on the bike with this mod unless you keep the stalks and re-attach them before RWC and sale, police might or might not care, guess thats down to luck.
