zx2r battery

Hi all great forum...I have just entered the world of biking.I have my l's and recently bought a 94 zxr250..I have had trouble starting the bike and was told to get a new battery.Today i got one it says 12v 9ah...but now that i look at the manual it says i need a 12v 6ah...sh@# have i stuffed up or can i us it?.I have no real idea about mechanics or batteries..Hopw someone can help..thanx :)

Should be ok mate its like putting a fwd drive battery in a commodore shouldn't hurt it at all as long as it physically fits in. 8)

it wont hurt having a little more capacity on the battery, as long as it fits your fine

be an idea to confirm its charging right tho, as that can lead to premature battery failure
if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!

should be fine, my gpx says 6mh and I have an 8 in there....just getting the bugger to fit was a little tight but it goes great guns. Tough as an ox my battery is...not bad for a $30 supercheap jobbie.
