I get really cranky when a jacket is labelled a particular size which is your normal size, and the bottom of the zip won't even meet around the hips!
Tanya, I didn't think Ixon gear was available in Australia?

I'm the oddest size ever made - I had to get a custom jacket re-custom-fitted... possibly twice, I'm still not 100% happy with it
guff to standard sizing, I say!! ixon gear is available in heaps of places now - I know I've definitely seen it in brisbane motorcycles and midtown... nice looking gear
but it still doesn't fit me

I just been shopping around the last few days for a jacket. I`ve come to the conclusion that only small people ride bikes these days. Not one shop on the gold coast and brissy had a large jacket in stock. Everywhere I went was the same "we can order one in in a couple of days" and cause we know you cant get one anywhere else, well jack the price up another couple of hundred(sarcastic).

I have been keeping an eye on http://www.newenough.com which has some great prices on gear, in particular ladies Joe Rocket jackets, purchased and shipped for about AU$350! Anyway, while we were bike shopping last weekend I tried on a Joe Rocket mesh jacket, and a leather one. Well, the mesh jacket was true too size
but the leather jacket in the same size was about 7 cms apart from closing in the hips, let alone getting it done up!
Cheers,
Anne
