From memory, and thats tough at my age, I think the 98 / 99 TKA ZX9r was getting around E.C in about 1:35 / 36 ish, with Marty Craggil on board. A few privateers were doing 1:37 / 1:38's...SocialSecurity wrote:and they do it mostly out of their own pocket too eh

a mate of a mate of a mate was riding an R6 in aussie supersport back in 04 (might still be) and i remember he came about 16th at the round (which wasnt a round) at WSBK 04... he said he had some sponsors but was paying the other 40k a year for it with his day job 

if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!
