i want to service it my self to save a few dollars.

98 is a G1.
The only place I've been able to find manuals for the g's is on ebay. Both hard copies and cd's with scanned manuals are on there. Don't have one myself though.

that link is broken and the bikechat forums don't have the g model 6 so there ;P
