Helmets...OGK and Others

Has anyone had any personal experience with OGK helmets?

I'd be interested to hear your feedback and how they rate in quality compared to Arai and Shoei lids.

On that topic, does anyone know of any deals going on said Arai or Shoei lids (size Large)?

had 2 ogk helmets in the uk, amazing summer helmets with the venting and all, bit noisier then my others but i always wore earplugs anyway.

removeable lining, removeable cheek pieces, all internals replaceable,

all in all a most excellent helmet.

Thanks sluglie (hmmm... where do I recognise that board name from?).

As it stays pretty warm most of the time where I live, a Summer helmet is a good option.

Is the quality of construction comparable to the other brands at all? I haven't got the opportunity to just race around the corner to look at one, so I'm looking for an un-biased comparisson with regards to quality.

An Arai Condor is in the same price range.. How does the OGK FF4 stack up?
