questions- zxr636

Post by yoda »

gday all, new to this forum.
hope someone here can help me...
ive just bought a 2003 zx636 and need to know a couple of things-
1. could someone pls post a pic of the screen and the bolts etc that hold it on. i bought mine without a screen(the owner hit a bird + cracked it) i have a new one but am not sure what sort of bolts/rivets? hold it on.
2. it also has a scratch on the perspex over the dash, can this be replaced and how do i go about it??
thanks heaps!!!

go to your local bike shop and ask for them, can be bought as a kit :)

mine has just nuts and washers with rubbers

and as for the scratched perspex, i'd live with it :)

edited because of spelling :)

i reckon the dash thing would cost u heaps, just check wreckers first, but i don't think they will wana sell it separately

with the screen and kit u can check ebay as they have whole heap of them for sale

hey yoda, good to see you made it across. tho i don't think ozboss likes me tellin ppl about here *shrugs*

pop into ur local wreckers for the bolts, i got a whole shitload of various kwakka bolts for $20.

as for the perspex, i'd agree with tanya, could be a bitch of a job for a small benefit.

the glass panel on the dash of the ZX6R is about $125 inc top cover.
