as tanya said, the easiest way is to use a long ramp.
but it might be the case the ramp you need won't fit on the back of the ute.
so back the ute up to a gutter. even the driveway will do. the shape of the road will point the ute down towards the driveway. i can get my 9 on the back of dad's XH ute without a ramp at all.
but then you have to find a gutter when you get to the track. can't guarantee there'd be one there.
if all else fails, be a man and pick it up with your bare hands.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

The Jap utes are higher than falcon and holden utes, but yeah you really just need a long ramp. But the hard bit is stepping up onto the tray when the bike is halfway up, it isn't always easy. If you have a friend to help you it makes it heaps easier. And yeah look for a bank or gutter to do it, I had to use them for ages till I got my own trailer.
BTW if you get stuck you are welcome to borrow my trailer, just means you will have to drive out to the Northside of Brisbane to pick it up and drop it off. It has a long ramp and is low so no scraping!

2 things to think of, use a bank if poss' (as mentioned) as the lesser angle means the belly pan wont scrape out.
There is nothing worse than gettign the bike half way up, it bottoms out, then falls over

Dont use the sides off the Lux except at a REAL pinch
Do get some others made up but (aluminium footplate, angle ally sides?)
Do make them so two can be joined together (fold one)
Go and see a Fox MX ramp or such
Also on the Inventors on ABC a guy designed the sides of a ute so that it has a ball joint type pivot at the bottom rear and u just unhook the front and swing it up over into a channel (so yo dont lose the sides)
Seemed extreme BUT you could make the ramp as heavy/strong/fold out long as you liked as you would never have to lift the bloody thing....
Swap me your Lux for my Tarago, nice and low entry (roof too low but)
I have to make a ramp for it before Friday for MP !!

Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

Or if a using a smaller ramp look for a bank.
