DON'T FORGET DOUBLE DEMERITS
DON'T FORGET DOUBLE DEMERITS
Yes it's revenue raising time in NSW again. It's supposed to rain all weekend anyway. TAKE IT EASY.

i'm not sure if thats correct. the way i understand is that its double dmerits for speeding and seatbelts violations. so if you get stung doing 15km/h over it's 4 points and 20km/h over it's gonna cost ya 6 points. and it's 6 points for every person not wearing a seatbelt. i think you do get double the fine aswell. in any case it's a good reason to keep it parked for the weekend unless you're just touring.under 30km/h over is 3pts for 1-29km over. its just the fines that vary

When Carl Scully, as roads minister, moved the changes to the fine structure which increased the fine for 45 over the limit from $660 to $1515, the Liberals voted with the NSW Government on the issue.Redback wrote:Vote 'em out. I'm sure i read years ago that Bob Carr had never held a licence and never driven, he's gone so get rid of the rest of them.
Right now, they're saying that Eric Roozendal, the current NSW roads minister, isn't going far enough with his plan to spend $400-odd million installing flashing lights and electronic hoardings outside schools and traffic lights at pedestrian crossings...
...put your faith in one lot over the other at your own risk.
