i want old, usable tyres
ok for any of u in SA if ur unaware Myself and Greeny are getting a little bit carried away with tyre usage....weve found a private, legal area to practice our burnouts, wheelies, endos etc..without fear of law trouble...
so...if ne of yas have tyres coming off bikes that arent totally fucked, we want em....and if ne of u other state members have ne in similar condition..well i need to find out how expensive it is to get em here...cos im sure not buying new tyres to shred...

Neka I've got some old dunlops you could use, 120/180 usual size.
rear is a commuters tyre but still got tread
I'll also have a set of Pilot Powers/supercorsa's up for grabs every few months also that are just 50-60% worn on the sides, maybe 10% in the middle. So i'll keep you in mind.
How much are you looking at spending on a set of treads? The dunlops you can have for 30 bucks but I'll probably want around $150 for a set of pilots or the pirelli's.
heres the dunshlops

I am a very sensible and responsible rider who would never participate in this sort of activity be it in a legal venue or not.
And I would NEVER abuse a motorcycle in this way, or ride one in a manner that it was not designed for.

I'll vouch for that, he was a very well mannered man when I met him, and would have no trouble believing he's never even been fined for reckless driving or speeding.greeny wrote:Why are you bringing me into this.Neka79 wrote:ok for any of u in SA if ur unaware Myself and Greeny are getting a little bit carried away with tyre usage....weve found a private, legal area to practice our burnouts, wheelies, endos etc..without fear of law trouble...

we have contacted most dealerships etc..but most trade in tyres are rooted...i need enuf tread in the middle when i dump the clutch to try a 12 oclock that it doesnt spin...and i can do burnouts...
i might consider $20 a tyre...but more liking freebies to get rid of...
