Wattie,

Get yourself to ebay.

There are 636 shocks regularly for sale in the US. They go for ~US$50-US$100 + shipping (~US$60). It's a cheap and decent upgrade at that price. (An Ohlins or Hyperpro is gonna cost you A$1800).

I'd look for '05, ''06 zx636 shocks. '03 and '04 models are likely to have too many kms on them now. Like any other Jap stock shock they're pretty much cactus after 20,000kms

If you haven't ridden QR, How can you bag it?
I hear alot of people bagging QR, yet so few have actually ridden it.....
It's a Track, you find someone to chase around & you have a ball.....

I get to say that because i know a helluva lot of people who have, and i read a lot of forums and people who've ridden there have posted, about 10% say its ok, everyone else hates it.
I'm not wasting money to go around a boring, bumpy as hell track!

And for southerners, if you want to see how bumpy it is, just watch the v8's as they go around..

Sounds like a bunch of whingers to me, if they were actually capable of lapping QR fast, I highly doubt that they would be bagging it, no matter how much of a drag strip it is, it still requires incredible riding ability to lap quickly.......

Like I said it's a track, you find someone to chase & you have a ball....

damn whinging city folk.......grumble......grumble

I hear ya Gizmo, i always have a blast, it may look dull and bumpy from the sidelines but once you have a go at it its not so cut and dry.

I've done seven trackdays there and I'm gonna keep comming back!!
