Are all fibreglass fairings crap?
Im working on this future track bike of my friends.
Trying to fit the fibreglass fairings it came with - previous owner hadnt fitted them and said they came out of america.
these ones seem really crap to me.
the holes dont line up properly, the holes arent drilled big enough,
the front fender goes on crooked etc etc. every thing just seems a little "off"
Im currently chasing a set of track fairings for my zx6 and now im wondering if i will bother. If they are all as crap as these i will just get the shits really bad...
so how is your track fairing? did it go on ok? nice and neat? did it come with all the correct (and enough) fasteners?

I bought my fairings from 'RaceGlass' and everything was spot on. the Dzus clips were even riveted in place for me.
Some glass fairings are backyard jobs, where a mould has been taken from road fairings, and used to make copies, they're often the ones that need some work to fit properly.

If you want quality go with Racersedge fairings from what I see at trackdays....
If you actually look at the racebikes in magazines, you can notice the panels don't line up properly, I noticed it alot on the OZ Hunda raceteam bikes in Pics....
I don't think that race bikes/cars etc etc really need to be perfect, as long as they are shiny they will look good & with all the sponsors stickers over them you won't notice much anyway....
Mate of mine is a panel beater/Spray painter & he reckons most fibreglass car body kits need heaps of work to look good before they fit them to a car, so it would seem it's just the way fibreglass stuff is.....
